WOMAN WHO FORCED PARTNER TO TAKE REFUGE IN BATHROOM IS SENTENCED
A WOMAN who acted aggressively towards her partner and forced him to take refuge in a bathroom has been sentenced after she stayed out of trouble for six months.
Linsey Brown, 45, shouted, swore, and behaved aggressively towards her former partner at an address on Lauriston Street in Edinburgh.
Brown’s behavior was so hostile that the man was forced to lock himself in the bathroom on July 25 last year.
She was arrested, charged, and pleaded guilty to the offence during a hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in April.
Sheriff Roderick Flinn issued Brown with a non-harassment order banning her from contacting the man for 12 months and deferred her sentence for good behavior.
Brown, of Eskview Grove, Musselburgh, returned to court last week, where it was reported that she had committed no further offenses.
Sheriff Flinn admonished her then.
