A 26-year-old man has been sentenced to prison after admitting to stalking his former partner.
Liam Connor King made over 1,500 phone calls to the woman over a 12-week period following their breakup.
He also sent hundreds of messages from various mobile phones, harassed her through more than 20 social media accounts, and contacted her relatives and friends.
On one occasion, he posted private sexual images of her on TikTok, along with her phone number and home address.
His legal team described this pattern of conduct as “abhorrently unattractive.” A non-molestation order, a UK court order aimed at protecting victims of domestic abuse from further harm, was issued during this period but was violated by King six times.
Northamptonshire Police later sought a stalking protection order, which King again breached, leading to his arrest.
He faced charges of stalking, violating a non-molestation order, and breaching an interim stalking protection order.
During his trial at Northampton Crown Court on January 21, King, formerly residing on Norman Road, Northampton, pleaded guilty to all four charges.
He was subsequently sentenced last week on February 20 to nearly three years in prison.
