NOTTINGHAM STALKER SNAPPED EX-GIRLFRIEND'S PHONE WITH HIS TEETH
Liam Brown, aged 31 and from Nottingham, bit into a phone handset during a pub altercation.
This incident was part of a broader pattern of harassment following the end of his long-term relationship.
On April 17 at Nottingham Crown Court, Brown admitted to charges including harassment, common assault, witness intimidation, and criminal damage, and was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
According to Nottinghamshire Police, Brown, residing on Serlby Rise in St Ann's, subjected his former partner to frequent phone calls and text messages, as well as stalking her.
At one point, while she was on holiday, she received a video showing him uninvited at her home, police said.
The phone-biting incident occurred in July during an argument at the Engine House pub, when Brown lost his temper.
He also damaged her sunglasses and bruised her arm when attempting to prevent her from leaving.
Police reported that after his September arrest, Brown threatened the victim and tried to persuade her to drop the charges while on bail, but was unsuccessful.
PC Chris Calvert, who led the investigation, stated: 'Thanks to the courage shown by the victim, Brown is now facing the consequences of his actions.'
