KIERAN HENSON FROM DUNKELD BANNED AFTER GROOMING 13-YEAR-OLD AND CHILD ABUSE IMAGES DISCOVERY

Kieran Henson, a chef employed at a high-end resort hotel in Dunkeld, has been subjected to strict legal restrictions following serious allegations and evidence of misconduct involving a 13-year-old girl. The incident has garnered significant attention due to the nature of the offenses and the location where they occurred.

Henson, aged 21, was found to have engaged in grooming behavior towards a young girl, which included sending her explicit messages. This disturbing conduct was uncovered during a cross-border police investigation that spanned multiple jurisdictions. The investigation revealed that Henson had also downloaded and possessed images depicting child abuse, a serious criminal offense that further compounded his legal troubles.

Following his arrest, Henson was removed from his position in the hotel’s kitchen, signaling the end of his employment at the establishment. It was also discovered that he had advertised on a dating website, explicitly seeking conversations about sex, which raised further concerns about his intentions and behavior.

At Perth Sheriff Court, Henson faced a series of legal sanctions. He was placed on a community payback order that will last for three years, with supervision to ensure compliance. As part of his sentence, he was also ordered to complete 300 hours of unpaid community service. The court imposed additional conditions to prevent any future misconduct, including a ban on having any solo contact with individuals under the age of 16. Furthermore, authorities were granted the right to scrutinize his computer and internet-enabled devices at any time without prior warning, to monitor for any further illegal activity.

Henson was also registered on the sex offenders register for the duration of his community order, reflecting the severity of his offenses. During his initial court appearance, he provided the hotel’s staff accommodation as his address, indicating his residence at the time of arrest. He admitted to sending explicit text messages to the girl in July of the previous year and also confessed to possessing indecent images of children on his mobile phone when police apprehended him on Thursday, February 16, at the Dunkeld Hilton hotel.
