LEICESTER PROBATIONER JAILED FOR 18 YEARS FOR HORRIFIC SEX SLAVERY AND RAPE
Kevin Warren, aged 27, and his partner Donna Morris, aged 35, from Barwell, Leicester, subjected a vulnerable young woman in her 20s to heinous abuse, including physical, emotional, and sexual assault, over a period of approximately 17 months.
The victims was kept as a sex slave and was controlled over her finances, being treated 'worse than an animal'.
Warren admitted to five counts of rape and both offenders pleaded guilty to a charge under the Modern Slavery Act.
Warren received a prison sentence of 18 years with an additional five years on licence post-release, while Morris was sentenced to four years.
The case was described as 'truly shocking' by police, emphasizing that the offenders' actions were 'grotesquely cruel' and warning others that such crimes will be prosecuted.
