PREDATORY PAEDOPHILE KNOWN TO FAIRGROUNDS LIVING IN NUNEATON
Share this warning about a predatory paedophile who is now living in Nuneaton, with links to Warwickshire and Leicestershire regions.Kevin McKay, a former fairground employee from Rugby, is currently residing in Nuneaton after being jailed for child abuse offenses.
In May 2022, he appeared in Warwick Crown Court and was convicted on two counts of indecency with a child and two counts of indecent assault.
The court sentenced him to four years and two months in prison and mandated lifelong registration as a sex offender.
McKay served just over two years of his sentence.
Court records show that he began abusing one victim when she was just two years old, with the abuse continuing over a decade until he relocated from the area.
The victim later found the courage to report the abuse, leading to police inquiries.
Investigations uncovered that McKay’s work at fairgrounds and his travels across parts of England and Scotland may have exposed him to more victims.
Several individuals accused him, but a lack of cooperation from some families prevented further charges.
Authorities have characterized McKay as a predatory paedophile and encourage any additional victims to come forward.
It is also known that McKay has an active Facebook profile, which he resumed using in 2024.
