A man has been convicted of sexually abusing a child several decades ago.
On Tuesday, 5 August, William Proctor, aged 74 and residing on Heath End Road in Nuneaton, was judged guilty after a trial at Warwick Crown Court.
He was found responsible for four counts of rape and four counts of indecent assault involving a minor under 16.
Proctor is scheduled for sentencing in the following month.
The alleged abuse occurred between 1991 and 1999, when the victim was aged between six and 13 years old.
