NUNEATON MAN CHARGED WITH GROOMING TEENAGE GIRL AND CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A man has been accused of grooming teenage girl in Nuneaton among a number of alleged child sex offences.Warwickshire Police has confirmed that Joshua Grainger, aged 20 of no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday and charged last night (November 4).
He has been accused of a number of offences against a teenage girl in Nuneaton between October 1 and 1 November 1 of this year, 2025.
The police force said that he was remanded in custody and will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates' Court today (November 5).
He faces a total of six charges, including three counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
He has also been accused of taking a child so as to keep him/her from a person having lawful control.
Grainger has also been charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child.
The final charge is to meet a girl under 16 years of age following grooming.
The force said that it will reveal no further details.
In a statement, it said: "When someone has been charged, we are legally limited as to what information we can publish, to avoid prejudicing any upcoming legal proceedings."
