Before his trial, Mulakhil admitted to a separate rape charge.
During the ten-day court proceedings at Warwick Crown Court, jurors also convicted him of kidnapping the child and capturing an indecent video of her while she was vulnerable near a residential area.
The jury was informed that Mulakhil arrived in the UK four months prior to the assaults and had submitted an immigration application citing issues faced in Afghanistan.
After deliberating for over seven hours across three days, the jurors reached their verdict.
Judge Kristina Montgomery KC ordered him to be kept in custody until sentencing, which will occur at a later date.
She noted that Mulakhil is likely to face a significant prison term, which would automatically lead to his deportation after serving his sentence.

Ahmad Mulakhil, aged 23, appeared before Warwick Crown Court on Friday and changed his plea from not guilty to guilty regarding one charge of raping a child under 13 on July 22.
Mulakhil, who does not have a fixed address, had previously denied charges including kidnapping a child, three counts of child rape, and two counts of sexual assault involving a girl under 13 when he faced trial in August.
He was present alongside his co-defendant, Mohammad Kabir, also 23 years old.
Kabir, also without a fixed residence, denied allegations of attempting to abduct a child, aiding and abetting a child rape, and intentionally strangling the girl.
During court proceedings, Kabir only confirmed his identity, while Mulakhil also pleaded guilty to a child rape charge; both defendants used interpreters.
Warwickshire Police have publicly identified both individuals as Afghan nationals.
A trial for Mulakhil and Kabir is scheduled for January 26.
The incident reportedly led to significant protests outside Nuneaton Town Hall on August 9.
Protesters brandishing St George’s flags and Union Jacks chanted slogans such as “Stop the boats” and “We want our country back.”
