LINCOLN MAN JAILED FOR ELDERLY MOTHER'S MURDER
Kazik Pasierbek, aged 39, was convicted of killing his 72-year-old mother, Margaret Lynette Krawcewicz, during a violent assault at their residence in Lincoln last October.
Evidence presented in court showed that Pasierbek, who struggles with drug addiction, borrowed his mother’s bank card to purchase narcotics and alcohol before attacking her in a state driven by drugs.
The verdict found him guilty of subjecting his mother to a severe beating, which police described as a 'brutal attack.' He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 14 years.
Police reports indicated that the assault involved numerous strikes, resulting in head injuries that caused her death in hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Martin Holvey commented that the attack was particularly savage against a vulnerable elderly woman.
The court also viewed a distressing recording of Mrs.
Krawcewicz, who was confined to her bed, expressing fear and confusion, saying, 'Oh God, what did you do to my head Kazik?
- You beat me up bad.' This recording was captured after she activated a personal alarm to summon help.
Authorities further explained that the violence stemmed from an argument over her bank card, which Pasierbek used to buy drugs and alcohol, ultimately leading to this tragic event.
