JAMIE PRICE FROM AYLESTONE AND LEICESTER STRIKES AGAIN WITH SHOCKING INDECENT BEHAVIOR AT LEICESTER RAILWAYMEN'S CLUB
In a disturbing incident that has once again brought to light the troubling history of a local offender, Jamie Richard Price, aged 21, has been sentenced to two years in prison after exposing himself to three young girls at a well-known Leicester venue. The incident took place at the Leicester Railwaymen's Club, situated on Leicester Street in the Spinney Hills area, on June 19 of the previous year.According to court reports, the victims, who were aged just seven, eight, and ten, entered the games room of the club and were shocked to witness Price engaging in indecent behavior. He was seen with his trousers undone, performing acts that were clearly inappropriate and sexually explicit. The court was informed that Price had entered the club earlier as a guest, which allowed him access to the premises where the incident occurred.
Security footage from the venue captured Price's actions, providing concrete evidence of his misconduct. The young girls, visibly upset and distressed by what they saw, immediately ran out of the room to alert their parents, who were understandably alarmed by the incident. The court heard that Price, who was formerly residing in Glover Court, Aylestone, admitted to engaging in sexual activity in front of the children, a revelation that compounded the seriousness of his actions.
It was also revealed during the proceedings that Price has a long-standing history of similar offenses. In 2005, when he was just 16 years old, he committed three separate acts of outraging public decency in various city parks. These involved indecent exposure in front of two teenage girls, a 13-year-old girl, and a schoolgirl, all of whom were minors. As a result of these offenses, Price was initially sentenced to a three-year community order with supervision and was also subject to an anti-social behavior order (ASBO). However, he later breached the ASBO, which led to a subsequent sentence of 12 months in detention.
During the sentencing hearing, Paul Wakerley, representing Price, provided context for his client’s behavior. He explained that Price suffers from a personality disorder and had a troubled upbringing, which he argued contributed to his pattern of offending. Wakerley emphasized that the 2005 incidents occurred when Price was only 16 and clarified that his client was not an adult male preying on children but rather an immature and fragile young man who had committed socially unacceptable acts.
Regarding the recent incident at the Leicester Railwaymen's Club, Wakerley stated that Price did not specifically intend to expose himself to children but was aware that his actions could be observed. He described the act as brief, noting that the girls saw what he was doing and promptly ran away. The victims' statements described the experience as upsetting and disgusting, highlighting the emotional impact of the incident.
In response to the case, Judge Sylvia De Bertodano imposed a series of strict measures on Price. She ordered him to be subject to a sexual offences prevention order, which prohibits him from entering public parks in Leicester and from having unsupervised contact with children under the age of 17. Additionally, Price will be required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years. The judge expressed her condemnation of Price’s actions, stating, "You perform these acts in public for your own sexual gratification without regard to the distress caused to others. It must have been an extremely distressing experience for those three little girls." Her remarks underscored the seriousness of the case and the ongoing threat posed by individuals with such histories of offending.
