A man has made an appearance at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court facing accusations of raping a 13-year-old girl.
Jacob Hills, aged 21 and residing on Woodpecker Way in Northampton, is charged under section 1 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 with raping the girl, with the alleged incident occurring in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, last year.
The identity of the alleged victim remains protected by law.
On June 23, Hills attended his initial hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court, where the case was transferred to Oxford Crown Court for trial proceedings.
He was granted conditional bail with restrictions, including a prohibition from entering Oxfordshire unless for court appearances or with approval from social services or police.
He was also ordered not to contact two individuals directly or indirectly.
A preliminary hearing for plea and trial readiness is scheduled at Oxford Crown Court on July 23.
