HUGH DAVIES FROM KENDAL SENTENCED FOR CHILD INDECENCY IMAGES
Hugh Davies, a 63-year-old former school choir conductor from Kendal, has been sentenced to more than two years in prison after being found guilty of producing and sharing indecent images of minors.The police investigation uncovered multiple laptops belonging to Davies, which contained a significant number of images and videos depicting boys approximately ten years old.
The accused admitted to the charges, which involved the manufacturing and distribution of such illicit material spanning from 2009 to 2014.
His guilty plea led to a sentence of two and a half years behind bars.
In addition to his imprisonment, Davies will be required to register as a lifelong sex offender, reflecting the severity of his crimes and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.
