KINMEL BAY MAN ADMITS THREATENING TO SHARE INTIMATE PHOTO
A MAN from Kinmel Bay is to be sentenced after admitting threatening to share an intimate photograph of a woman.Geraint Hopwood, 48, of Llys Cregyn, pleaded guilty to this charge at Mold Crown Court on Monday (January 5).
Hopwood also admitted charges of criminal damage to property and intentional strangulation.
He had previously pleaded guilty to a second criminal damage charge last May.
The incident in question took place last April.
Hopwood was cleared of a further charge of possessing combat knives, swords and machetes in a private place after the prosecution offered no evidence.
He will be sentenced at Mold Crown Court on Friday, February 27, and was granted conditional bail until then.
A pre-sentence report will be prepared on Hopwood’s behalf by the probation service.
