EBBW VALE MAN CAUGHT WITH ANIMAL PORN VIDEOS ON HIS PHONE SENTENCED
A MAN caught with dozens of animal porn videos and photographs on his phone has been sentenced.
Eric Thomas, 30, from Ebbw Vale pleaded guilty to possessing extreme pornographic images by having 44 films and pictures showing sex acts with animals.
His offending took place on October 22, 2023, Newport Magistrates' Court was told.
The defendant was sentenced to a 12-month community order.
Thomas, formerly of Beaufort Rise, Beaufort, now of Monmouth Drive, Merthyr Tydfil must carry out 160 hours of unpaid work.
He must also complete a 26-day rehabilitation activity requirement and pay a £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
