She described how the young girl’s personality had undergone a dramatic transformation, noting mood swings, tantrums, and a decline in academic performance.
The relative expressed her anguish, stating, “When you find out something like this, it’s absolutely devastating.” Despite the pain and trauma inflicted, the relative also expressed a sense of relief that justice had been served, acknowledging the six-year sentence handed down to Tissington as a necessary step in holding him accountable for his crimes.
