ANGLESEY MAN JAILED FOR 13 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A man from Anglesey has been sentenced to 13 years in prison after being convicted of multiple historic child sex offences.
David Llewellyn Davies, aged 37, was found guilty at Caernarfon Crown Court of two counts of sexual assault and two counts of rape involving a child under 13.
He was also convicted of three charges of sexual activity with a child under 16.
Det Con Tamzin Williams of North Wales Police stated that the sentence reflected the severity of the crimes.
"The victim, who is now an adult, showed great courage in coming forward to report this matter," she said.
"I hope this outcome will inspire confidence in other victims of historic serious sexual offences to come forward."
