A 26-year-old pervert pretended to be a teenager to persuade a boy to show him his genitals online.David Bare, who told the boy he was 15, performed a sex act online as the young boy watched.
The Stockton man sent explicit sexual messages to a second boy, and pretended that he was 14 himself, before persuading him to engage in sexual activity online.
Bare was judged to be 'unfit to plead' to the offences but was found guilty by a jury on August 15 after a trial at Teesside Crown Court.
He was convicted of engaging in sexual communications with a child; inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual communication; engaging in a sexual act in the presence of a child; and causing a child to engage in sexual activity.
The court heard that Bare is currently living with his parents.
The judge sentenced him to a two-year supervision order and a five-year sexual harm prevention order, which restricts his internet use.
Bare will also be subject to sex offender notification requirements for five years.
The judge expressed sympathy for the victims' families and commended their bravery during the investigation.
