TWO TEENAGE COUSINS JAILED FOR RAPE OF SEX WORKERS IN HUDDERSFIELD
Relatives Lucas Sienkiewicz, aged 18, and Daniel Sienkiewicz, aged 17, were handed sentences totaling over 25 years after being found guilty of multiple violent rapes involving sex workers in Huddersfield.Lucas admitted to three counts of rape and was sentenced to 14 years in prison, while Daniel, who was new to the UK and did not speak English at the time, pleaded guilty to two counts and received an 11-year, three-month sentence.
Both were ordered to be registered as sex offenders for life.
It was revealed to the court that the offenses had been thoughtfully planned, with the use of violence and degradation, and that Lucas played a dominant role, seeking victims in isolated areas, offering money prior to assault, and participating in a rape watched directly by himself.
The court noted Daniel’s recent arrival and language barrier at the time of the offences but emphasized their collaboration in systematic abuse.
The judge stressed that the crimes affected highly vulnerable individuals and that the offenders' youth and confessions were considered during sentencing.
The police investigation utilized CCTV footage, electronic device records, and DNA analysis to establish links to the suspects, and the court commended law enforcement for their comprehensive efforts in securing justice.
