NUNEATON TEEN JAILED FOR RAPE
An 18-year-old resident of Stockingford, Nuneaton, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for the crime of rape.Daniel Michael Adams was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl in July or August 2008 in a recreational area known as the Dip, off Marsdale Drive.
In addition, he received a concurrent six-month sentence for sexual activity with another 14-year-old girl.
Adams was found guilty at Warwick Crown Court in August and was remanded into custody for reports.
The investigation was led by Police Staff Investigator Anne Marie Wale, who commended the bravery of the two victims and acknowledged the support they received from their families, schools, and various support agencies.
