A woman was forcibly pulled over a hedge by a man suffering from a drug addiction and carrying a knife in Lochgelly.
Daniel Lester, aged 35, of Robert Smith Court in Lumphinnans, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
He was sentenced to a drug treatment and testing order (DTTO).
Lester had pleaded guilty to attacking a woman on April 1 on South Street, Lochgelly, by grabbing her wrist and dragging her over a hedge, resulting in injury.
He admitted to unlawfully possessing a knife at that time.
Additionally, he confessed to behaving aggressively at Victoria Hospital, where he shouted, swore repeatedly, spat on the floor multiple times, and refused to stop despite being asked.
He also admitted to spitting at a police officer during an incident at Dunfermline police station, where he assaulted the officer.
