FIFE MAN SENTENCED TO JAIL FOR SLEEPING SEX ASSAULT
A man named Dale Everard, aged 22, was sentenced to 18 months in jail after he sexually assaulted a sleeping man in Dunfermline, Fife.According to reports, Everard admitted to performing a sex act on the victim while he was under the influence of alcohol and asleep in his bed at a house.
The incident occurred after Everard had been invited to the victim's home, which happened after he befriended the man’s girlfriend at a nightclub in the town on May 10 of the previous year.
The victim had returned to his house, believing his girlfriend was in bed, but in reality, she was asleep on the sofa.
Instead, Everard had secretly entered the victim’s room.
