MAN JAILED FOR 20 MONTHS FOR TWO BREACHES OF SEXUAL HARM PREVENTION ORDER
A 44-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford has received a 20-month prison sentence after being found guilty of violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Craig Sankey, residing on Devon Close, appeared before Southampton Crown Court on Friday, 27 March, where he was sentenced.
He had previously admitted to the two breaches at a hearing held at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 17 February.
The court had imposed a ten-year SHPO on Sankey on Friday, 13 September 2024, after he was convicted of engaging in sexual communications with a minor.
The conditions of the order mandated that he notify police within three days if he acquired any new mobile device or internet-enabled gadget.
However, on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, Sankey failed to report the acquisition of a new phone and computer, which led to his arrest.
