MACCLESFIELD MAN JAILED FOR CONTROLLING AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR TOWARDS EX-PARTNERS
A resident of Macclesfield, Craig Moses, has been handed a three-year prison sentence after admitting to a series of abusive behaviors towards his two former partners.
Living on Vincent Street, the 39-year-old was found guilty of controlling and coercive conduct, harassment, and assault.
Evidence showed that Moses took control of his partners' phones, enforced strict dress codes, and issued threats to kill.
During police investigations, it was revealed that his actions caused significant fear for their safety and lives.
PC Leila Soleimani described his conduct as cruel, violent, and bullying, noting that his goal was to isolate his victims from family and friends through threats and demands.
She praised the victims for their bravery in coming forward, which resulted in Moses' imprisonment and the imposition of a 10-year restraining order preventing him from contacting them.
Court proceedings detailed how Moses attempted to dominate his ex-partners by demanding constant proof of their location, restricting activities such as gym visits, and even appearing uninvited at their workplaces.
Despite police reports, he continued to harass and threaten them.
The court sentenced him to three years in prison and imposed a decade-long restraining order to safeguard the victims from further harm.
