BRIDGEND MAN GUILTY OF STALKING JUDGE AND BARRISTER
A man named Christopher Searle, aged 40 and residing on Tondu Road in Bridgend, has been found guilty of stalking a judge and harassing a barrister.
The court heard that Searle followed Judge Jeremy Jenkins as he traveled from one court to another, then confronted him and called him a 'corrupt and evil man'.
Additionally, he verbally abused barrister Andrew Jones as he was going to meet his family for dinner.
Searle later posted footage of these incidents on TikTok, claiming his actions were motivated by anger about court proceedings.
This followed Searle's appearance before Judge Jenkins on a conspiracy to supply class A drugs charge on September 8 last year.
During a court hearing, Searle denied stalking, asserting he only wished to express concerns about how he was treated by the court.
The presiding judge, Tanweer Ikram, indicated that Searle could face a prison sentence, which was scheduled for 25 August.
