OFFENDER CHRISTOPHER GARRARD IN PEEBLES SUBJECT TO BACKGROUND OPERATIONS
Background investigations have been initiated into 46-year-old Christopher Garrard, who has admitted to committing three offences.Garrard pleaded guilty to violating the terms of his Sexual Offences Prevention Order by not providing a device capable of internet access to police and failing to inform authorities of a change of address.
Additionally, he admitted to possessing indecent images of children at a residence on Witchwood Crescent, Peebles, earlier this year in February.
The court has postponed sentencing until next month, and Garrard has been remanded in custody pending the hearing.
