STOCKTON STALKER CHRISTOPHER BRIGHT SENTENCED FOR CAMPAIGN OF HARASSMENT
Over an eight-month period, Christopher Bright stalked a woman by secretly placing an Air Tag on her vehicle to monitor her whereabouts.
His harassment included threats to shatter her car windows, an act of refusing to delete an intimate video, and threats to stab her.
He also lingered outside her workplace.
The 40-year-old man, based in Stockton, engaged in this behavior from September through May.
Bright pleaded guilty to a charge of stalking without causing fear, alarm, or distress and appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on Tuesday.
His sentence involves wearing an electronic tag until February 18, a 12-month rehabilitation order, and the completion of 160 hours of unpaid community service.
