AIRDIRE TEACHER CAROLE ANN WHITE SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST BOYS

In a recent court ruling at Airdrie Sheriff Court, Carole Ann White, a 39-year-old educator from the town, was sentenced to a prison term of three years after being found guilty of engaging in sexual misconduct with two young boys. The sentencing took place on Tuesday, 14 June 2022, following her conviction on Thursday, 28 April 2022.

Detective Inspector David Lamont issued a statement emphasizing the gravity of the case, saying, "Carole Ann White is now facing the consequences of her predatory behaviour. She was a teacher, and in a position of trust, at the time she carried out these offences. Her victims showed tremendous courage in making sure she was held accountable for her appalling actions. I hope this sentence provides a sense of closure for her victims and sends a clear message that all reports of sexual abuse will be thoroughly investigated by Police Scotland."
