BRYNMOR GRIFFITHS OF BARRY CAUGHT WITH CHILD INDECENT IMAGES IN WALES
In February 2014, a serious case involving Brynmor Griffiths, an 84-year-old resident of Barry, came to light when he was found to possess a significant collection of indecent images of children.
Griffiths, who lives on Heathfield Drive in Barry, was arrested in August of the previous year after authorities discovered that his home computer contained a total of 212 images depicting minors aged between ten and fifteen.
These images ranged from less severe to the most serious levels of abuse, with 15 classified as level four and three as level five, the highest category indicating the most severe form of child exploitation.
The discovery was made after Griffiths took his computer to PC World at Culverhouse Cross for a routine check-up.
An employee at the store noticed the presence of inappropriate images and promptly alerted the police.
