BRIAN MITCHELL FROM DOUGLAS SENTENCED FOR INDECENT IMAGES IN MARCH 2018
In March 2018, a photographer employed at a youth club narrowly avoided imprisonment after being found guilty of taking indecent photographs of a young relative.
The 63-year-old Brian Stanley Mitchell, residing on Woodbourne Road in Douglas, pleaded guilty to charges of creating indecent images of children and downloading such content from the internet.
At Douglas Courthouse, Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes remarked that although the images were considered to be at the lower end of severity, Mitchell’s conduct represented a serious breach of trust.
