OXFORD MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF TEENAGE GIRL
His cousin, Bilal Ahmed, who lives on Suffolk Road in Maidenhead, Berkshire, was found guilty of sexually assaulting the same 17-year-old girl, who remains anonymous.
Bilal Ahmed received a prison sentence of three and a half years for his serious sexual misconduct.
At trial, a jury deliberated for approximately seven hours before reaching a verdict.
The court heard recordings of multiple 999 emergency calls made by the teenage victim, who pleaded with responders to 'come quick please.' In the course of the trial, Zeeshan Ahmed threatened the girl after she notified authorities about the assaults.
Both Zeeshan and Bilal Ahmed denied all charges levelled against them.
Adrian Foster, chief crown prosecutor for Thames and Chiltern CPS, described the abuse as 'truly appalling' and referred to the defendants as 'vicious sexual predators.' Detective Superintendent Joe Kidman emphasized that these convictions demonstrate the ongoing work under Operation Bullfinch.
