SUNDERLAND PAEDOPHILE AYDAN WOOLLEY STUNG BY COPS
A Sunderland resident with a prior sexual offence record pleaded guilty to trying to contact a minor for sexual purposes, without knowing the person he was chatting with was an undercover police officer.Aydan Woolley, 31, of Louise House, Royal Courts, contacted a fake account on an adult chat website, believing it belonged to a 14-year-old girl.
During their January conversations, he made inappropriate, explicit remarks, including questions about sexual preferences and mentions of “rape play”.
The case was presented at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court, which was informed that Woolley’s previous convictions were considered to be of a historical nature.
He admitted to two counts of attempting to have sexual communications with a minor.
Woolley has been granted bail while awaiting sentencing next month, with conditions that include no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18 and mandatory reporting of any internet-enabled devices to authorities.
He is also now subject to legal notification obligations under the Sexual Offences Act.
