NOTTINGHAM WOMAN JAILED FOR RELENTLESS STALKING AND HARASSMENT
A Nottingham mother of two carried out an relentless campaign of stalking against a woman she suspected was in a relationship with her partner.
Anya Ifall targeted her love rival by bombarding her with phone calls, turning up at her workplace at Nottingham Wollaton Park Travelodge, and creating fake Instagram accounts under names like “love triangle” and “compulsive liar”.
The victim, who is also a mother, described the harassment as leaving her “physically drained, always looking over my shoulder and not the person I used to be”.
Nottingham Crown Court sentenced Ifall to a two-year jail term, suspended for two years, and ordered her to attend 40 rehabilitation sessions.
Additionally, she received a lifetime restraining order.
The prosecution highlighted numerous incidents, including egg-throwing, pouring sauce into her apartment, filming herself banging on her door, and sending distressing images of dead bodies to her family members.
Despite denying the stalking allegations during police interviews, Ifall plead guilty to stalking and breaching a protection order.
