OXFORD PAEDOPHILE JAILED FOR ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY COLLECTION
A convicted paedophile who previously recorded an attempt to sexually assault a child has expressed embarrassment over his extensive collection of animal pornography.
During a video link from HMP Bullingdon, Alan Foster, aged 70, showed remorse as he was sentenced to four years in prison.
The Oxford Crown Court was informed that Foster had been convicted before for filming himself trying to abuse a child.
The illegal footage was discovered during a police raid on another paedophile’s hidden attic.
Foster, who had been living in the Philippines continually from 2010 until his return to the UK in 2013, had been jailed by 2014 for possessing images of child sex abuse and was under a sexual harm prevention order.
Despite this, he repeatedly breached the order; in 2020, police found him with an Amazon Firestick and indecent images of children, including five in the most serious category, all young girls.
Authorities also uncovered online searches related to child sexual offences and bestiality.
Foster claimed the images might have been on the device before he purchased it, but technical data indicated it had been erased beforehand.
The court described him as a prolific sexual offender whose violations demonstrated blatant disregard for court directives.
His lawyer cited his history of childhood abuse and the emotional impact following his partner’s death from coronavirus.
Foster admitted to breaching his sexual harm prevention order and possessing indecent images, resulting in his four-year imprisonment.
