MAN JAILED FOR NEARLY FOUR YEARS OVER SEX OFFENCES IN SPALDING
A man received a prison sentence of nearly four years after being convicted of deliberate suffocation, strangulation, and engaging in controlling and coercive conduct.Zbigniew Kaczmarek, residing on Carrington Road in Spalding, was handed down the sentence on Friday, 13 December, following a trial at Lincoln Crown Court.
The 51-year-old was responsible for three separate offenses that occurred in Spalding last December, all against the same individual.
He was sentenced to three years and ten months in prison, with time served on remand deducted from this period.
Additionally, he was issued a ten-year restraining order and is set to be deported.
Detective Constable Charlotte Howitt praised the victim's courage during the case and issued a warning to potential offenders that similar actions would result in imprisonment.
