WILLIAM SMALL CAUGHT WITH DISTURBING IMAGES IN BURTON AND STOKE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, William Small, a 64-year-old resident of St Aiden's Close in Burton, was brought before the court to face serious allegations involving extreme and indecent images.The charges stem from a period between 2015 and 2017, during which Small was found to possess and create highly disturbing visual material.
According to court records, Small was found in possession of explicit photographs depicting a woman engaging in a sexual act with a live eel.
These images, classified as extreme pornography, were part of the evidence presented during his hearing at Cannock Magistrates' Court on February 5.
The court heard that Small not only possessed such images but also admitted to creating a significant number of indecent images of children, totaling more than 390 photographs.
Specifically, Small confessed to producing 145 images categorized as Category A, which is considered the most severe level of indecency, along with 50 images classified as Category C.
All these images were reportedly created in Burton.
Additionally, the court was informed that a further 201 images, classified as Category B, were produced in Stoke, indicating a pattern of offending across multiple locations.
The charges also include possession of three extreme pornographic images involving the eel, which were prosecuted under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act.
These images are particularly disturbing due to their explicit and unusual nature.
William Small has been remanded on unconditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Stafford Crown Court for sentencing.
The exact date of the hearing has yet to be confirmed.
The case has raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of children and the community at large, given the nature of the offenses and the disturbing content involved.
