PENZANCE PAEDOPHILE SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR DECADES OF ABUSE
William Pope, aged 58, was found guilty of more than 20 sexual crimes, including indecent assault, attempted buggeries, indecency with a minor, incitement of a child to participate in sexual acts, buggeries, attempted rape, and indecent assault.
His abusive behavior occurred between the 1960s and 1990s in east Cornwall.
Investigations by the police uncovered that he had harmed five boys over a period of thirty years.
Pope was brought back to the UK from Spain under a European Arrest Warrant and received a sentence of 20 years in prison.
Additionally, he was placed on a lifetime sex offenders' register extension.
