WILLIAM FRASER SENTENCED IN CAITHNESS FOR RAPE AND ABDUCTION IN ABERDEEN

A man named William Fraser has been sentenced to a total of thirteen years in prison, including a nine-year term and an additional four-year extended sentence, following his conviction for the brutal rape and abduction of a young Polish woman in Aberdeen. Fraser, whose actions have been described by police as 'ruthless,' committed this heinous crime in October of the previous year, sparking one of the most extensive police investigations in Aberdeen's recent history.

The victim, a 22-year-old woman who had traveled from Poland to Scotland for her studies, provided her testimony from behind protective screens in court. She was visibly distressed, breaking down in tears when shown photographs of her injured face, which bore the scars of the assault. The court proceedings revealed the harrowing details of her ordeal, which left her emotionally and physically traumatized.

According to court records, the attack occurred during the early hours as the woman was walking home from her place of employment in Aberdeen. Fraser, who was later identified as the perpetrator, forcibly dragged her into a narrow alleyway located in the Powis area of the city.
