HECKMONDWIKE MAN ACCUSED OF HARASSING WOMAN WITH OVER 100 TEXTS
A man has appeared in court accused of bombarding a woman with more than 100 text messages.Wesley Bolton is accused of harassing Jennifer Morgan between December 29 and January 4.
Alex Bozman, prosecuting, said that the pair had been friends since September and exchanged messages on Facebook and by text.
He told Kirklees magistrates that around December the messages became more sexual and Miss Morgan became so concerned that she called police.
Bolton, 36, denies the charge and faces trial.
He was granted conditional bail by magistrates.
These conditions are that he does not contact Miss Morgan or enter South Parade in Cleckheaton.
Bolton, of Wood Avenue in Heckmondwike, will next appear at the Huddersfield court on January 23.
He was jailed for two years for harassing Jennifer Morgan.
