HECKMONDWIKE MAN JAILED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Steven Hudson, a resident of Heckmondwike, has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of several child sexual offences.The 21-month sentence was handed down by Leeds Crown Court, where Hudson admitted some charges and was convicted of others.
He was found guilty of two sexual touching offences against one victim, and he pleaded guilty to three more sexual offences involving a second victim.
These offences took place during 2017 and 2018, with police investigations beginning after reports were made in 2018.
The Kirklees District Safeguarding Unit led a thorough investigation into the case.
As part of his sentence, Hudson was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will also be required to register as a sex offender.
