REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER ARRESTED AGAIN AFTER SAYING “I DON’T CARE ABOUT AGE” TO CHILD DECOY A known paedophile has been arrested again on 4th July 2025 after being caught engaging in sexual communication with someone he believed to be a child.
The man, a repeat offender, was previously stung by a Fleetwood-based paedophile hunting group in 2021.
That exposure led to a 2023 conviction, where he was sentenced and placed on the Sex Offenders Register, alongside a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) intended to restrict his access to children and online contact.
Despite the legal restrictions, he was caught once more in July 2025, communicating with a decoy posing as a minor.
In the explicit exchange, the offender shockingly stated, “I don’t care about age,” before proceeding with sexual conversation.
He was swiftly arrested, and police have confirmed the matter is under investigation.
Breaching a SHPO is a serious criminal offence, and further charges are expected.
This case raises continued concerns about the monitoring and management of high-risk reoffenders who continue to target children despite legal interventions.
Safeguarding teams are now reviewing the case, and the offender remains in custody pending further court action.
