WESTON MAN HANDED SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT
A MAN from Weston-super-Mare has been handed a suspended prison sentence for sexual assault.
Jonathan Hill, of Locking Road, appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday (March 16) after pleading guilty to assault of a man, aged 16 or over, by penetration.
The 39-year-old was given a two year prison sentence, suspended for two years.
He was also ordered to engage in mental health treatment for nine months; 20 days of alcohol abstinence and monitoring; register with the police for ten years; and given a 10 year restraining order against the victim.
Hill was ordered to pay £3000 in compensation to the victim, and he must pay a victim surcharge of £187.
Any failure to comply with these terms, and the case will be bought back specifically before His Honour Judge Richardson.
