TIMOTHY MILLENDER'S SHOCKING CRIMES IN WINCHESTER AND FAREHAM REVEALED

In April 2014, a disturbing case emerged involving Timothy Millender, also known as Millinder, a man with connections to Fareham and Winchester, who was found to have committed heinous crimes involving child abuse images and videos. The details of his criminal activities have sent shockwaves through the local communities and raised serious concerns about the oversight of individuals with such offenses.

Millender, aged 32 at the time, was convicted of possessing an extensive collection of child abuse material, including 740 images and 106 videos depicting children as young as six months being subjected to sexual abuse and torture. Some of these videos were classified as level five, indicating the most severe form of abuse, involving sadism and even bestiality. Despite his conviction, Millender continued to operate professionally, running a clinic in Winchester that purported to offer hypnotherapy services to children and adults.

The clinic, which was associated with Redwood Health Therapies, was listed as a company where Millender served as a director. The facility advertised services such as hypnotherapy for children under 16, claiming to help children release bottled-up emotions through techniques like the 'Blowaway Technique' and other recognized therapies. The clinic's premises in Winchester abruptly closed last week, with reports indicating that the location had been cleared out, raising suspicions about the true nature of its operations.

One former employee expressed outrage and disbelief, stating, "It’s shocking a convicted paedophile could carry on running a business advertising services for children. The images he was looking at were of the very worst kind, yet he walked free from court and was able to continue running the clinic for two months after he pleaded guilty. It’s disgusting."

Further investigations revealed that Millender was listed as a company director of the clinic, which also offered beauty treatments and counseling services to both children and adults. Notably, earlier this month, the clinic in Winchester changed its name to St Giles Health and Beauty, with Millender still listed as a director. A sign on the door proclaimed, “We are now St Giles Health and Beauty. New name, new director, new management, new owners, the same therapists.” However, clients who arrived for appointments last week found the premises locked, indicating the business had ceased operations.

In addition to his business activities, Millender’s criminal record includes a series of convictions for possessing and making indecent images of children. In February 2014, he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including eight counts of creating indecent photographs and two counts of possession, totaling approximately 740 images. These images ranged from level 1 to level 5, with the highest levels involving rape, torture, and sadism. The images depicted children aged from six months to 14 years.

Despite the severity of his crimes, Millender was sentenced to a suspended prison term of six months, with a requirement to register as a sex offender. He was also ordered to undergo sex offender treatment and was subject to a 10-year Sexual Offenders Prevention Order. His conviction was publicly documented, but controversy arose when it was discovered that he had attempted to alter his surname spelling before sentencing, possibly to evade detection.

Further complicating the case, Millender has used aliases such as John to avoid recognition. He has also sent threatening emails demanding the removal of his conviction from public records, claiming defamation and loss of business. Investigations confirmed that the man convicted at Winchester Crown Court in February 2014 is indeed the same individual, despite his attempts to obscure his identity.

His criminal activities and subsequent attempts to conceal his identity have prompted calls for a review of the legal and judicial processes involved. Authorities are now examining whether the spelling error in his records was accidental or deliberate, with potential for the case to be reopened and for him to face further sentencing if misconduct is proven.

This case underscores the ongoing challenges in monitoring and managing individuals convicted of child abuse offenses, especially those who continue to operate businesses and influence communities under false pretenses. The community and authorities alike are urged to remain vigilant and to ensure that such offenders are held accountable for their actions.
