MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO RAPE OF WOMAN FROM SWINDON
A man has admitted to multiple serious sexual crimes involving a woman from Swindon.Dean Hamilton, aged 47, appeared before Winchester Crown Court on February 13th, where he pled guilty to one count of rape, one count of assault by penetration, and two counts of sexual assault.
He has been granted conditional bail and will be sentenced at a later date.
Hamilton’s criminal actions are connected to a broader case involving Joanne Young, who has chose to waive her right to anonymity.
In the same proceedings, four other defendants have entered not guilty pleas to various sexual offences, including charges of rape and sexual assault.
A trial for these four men is scheduled to be held at Winchester Crown Court in October.
