THOMAS MARRIOTT BANNED FOR LIFE IN YORK OVER SEXUAL MISCONDUCT
Thomas Marriott, a 39-year-old teacher at a private school in York, has been permanently prohibited from teaching following a secret sexual relationship with a pupil.
Earning an annual salary of £40,000, Marriott was employed as a history teacher and rowing coach at St Peter's School when he engaged in sexual acts with a female student on school grounds and instructed her to keep their relationship confidential.
