POLICE ARREST MIDDLESBROUGH MAN IN ONLINE CHILD COMMUNICATIONS INVESTIGATION
A 25-year-old man from Middlesbrough has been arrested as part of a police investigation into online contact with a child.Thomas Graham was detained on 11 December 2025 following concerns raised about his online activity.
Graham is alleged to have engaged in inappropriate communications, sent explicit images, and attempted to entice the child to view inappropriate material.
It is reported that a series of explicit messages and images were sent before contact ceased.
After the child ignored requests for inappropriate images, Graham allegedly blocked her.
During a recorded live video interaction, Graham is reported to have made a full admission relating to his actions.
The matter is now subject to ongoing police investigation, and no outcome of the case has yet been determined by a court.
It is also a matter of record that Graham had previously been charged with rape.
That earlier case proceeded through the court process and was concluded with no further action (NFA).
An NFA does not amount to a conviction and carries no finding of guilt.
The case is currently under active police investigation, with digital evidence and recorded material forming part of ongoing enquiries.
No formal outcome has yet been reached, and any decision regarding charges will rest with the prosecuting authorities.
