FARNBOROUGH MAN JAILED FOR HORRIFIC CHILD ABUSE
A man named Terry Judd was handed an 18-year prison sentence after being convicted of numerous sexual offences involving a young girl.The abuse began when the girl was only five years old.
Judd, aged 37 and residing in Farnborough, Hampshire, faced charges including 12 counts of raping a child under 13 and one count of assault by penetration of a child under 13.
All these offences occurred in Surrey.
The sentencing took place at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, after Judd had earlier admitted to an additional rape charge.
The victim alerted her mother about the abuse in July 2022, which prompted her mother to report it to the police.
This led to Judd’s arrest the following day.
Surrey Police’s Detective Constable Kiki Phillips commented that the girl, under 10 at the time, was brave enough to reveal her experience, which contributed to Judd’s conviction and helped protect other children from potential harm.
Judd was convicted of multiple sexual crimes, including 12 counts of rape and one of assault by penetration, resulting in an 18-year prison term.
