STUART LLOYD'S SHOCKING CRIMES IN ELLESMERE PORT: PAEDOPHILE'S REIGN OF TERROR AND EXTENDED SEXUAL HARM PREVENTION ORDER
In a disturbing series of events that have sent shockwaves through the community of Ellesmere Port, Stuart Lloyd, a 37-year-old man with a troubling criminal history, has once again come under scrutiny for his inappropriate and illegal actions involving minors. Lloyd, who has previously served time for sexual offenses, was recently subjected to an extension of his sexual harm prevention order following revelations about his ongoing misconduct and undisclosed relationships.Back in May 2018, Lloyd was convicted by a jury of two counts of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. During the trial, it was revealed that he had kissed the young girl all over her face and even put his tongue in her mouth, acts that the court described as “gross behaviour by an adult with a ten-year-old child.” The assaults did not stop there; Lloyd also touched her body inappropriately, including her genital area while she was unclothed. The victim disclosed these details to her grandmother, prompting police intervention and leading to Lloyd’s arrest and subsequent conviction.
At the time of sentencing, Judge Andrew Menary, QC, acknowledged the severity of Lloyd’s actions and noted that Lloyd had made a threatening remark to the victim’s family as he was led away to serve his sentence. Lloyd told them, “in a couple of years… I’ll get you,” a comment considered a potential contempt of court, though no formal action was taken. Lloyd was sentenced to five years in prison, and the court also imposed a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) that prohibited him from having unsupervised contact with children or supervised contact with children whose guardians were unaware of his past offenses.
Despite his incarceration, Lloyd’s troubling behaviour persisted after his release. In November 2020, he was released from prison, but within a month, he began a relationship with a woman who had three children under the age of 12. This development was a clear breach of his license conditions, which required him to notify authorities of any new relationships involving minors. Lloyd failed to disclose this relationship to his probation officer, claiming he was no longer seeing her. However, on January 12, 2023, probation officers discovered that the woman had visited his address, prompting his recall to prison to serve the remainder of his sentence until May 23.
Further investigations uncovered additional disturbing details about Lloyd’s past. It was revealed that in 2014, he received a 26-week suspended sentence for assaulting a two-year-old toddler by throwing a milk bottle at him. Nurses had observed bruises on the child on multiple occasions, but no charges were filed at that time. Moreover, it emerged that Lloyd had previously exhibited aggressive behaviour towards a three-year-old girl, resulting in serious injuries including a bleed on her brain, although again, no formal charges were brought.
The court also learned that Lloyd had failed to disclose that his new partner had a child fathered by him, and she had similarly failed to disclose his paternity. This lack of transparency hindered social services’ ability to assess and impose appropriate safeguards. Lloyd’s failure to attend the court hearing for the extension of his SHPO was noted, although police confirmed they were aware of the proceedings. Judge Eric Lamb approved the extension of Lloyd’s SHPO until May 2028, ensuring ongoing restrictions on his contact with minors and his supervision.
These revelations underscore the ongoing threat Lloyd poses to the community of Ellesmere Port, highlighting the importance of vigilant monitoring and strict enforcement of protective orders to prevent further harm to vulnerable children.
