ANNAN MAN JAILED FOR HOARDING 15,000 CHILD ABUSE IMAGES AND VIDEOS
An Annan man named Stuart Hyslop, who had previously pleaded guilty to charges related to hoarding over 15,000 child abuse images and videos, has been sentenced to over three years in prison.
The investigation uncovered that in December 2023 police officers found a mobile phone with indecent images and extreme pornography.
Further analysis of two additional mobiles, two laptops, and five SD cards revealed more than 8,300 indecent images, with 1,550 classified as Category A, and nearly 7,000 videos depicting horrific content, including the rape of children as young as 1-12 months old to 15 years old.
Authorities described some files as among the worst ever encountered by the cyber crime unit, with over 420 images and videos of extreme pornography and multiple images of adults engaged in sexual acts with animals like dogs, horses, pigs, and fish.
The total runtime of these videos equated to approximately 31 days, with more than 22 days of Category A content.
A particularly disturbing eight-minute video showing the rape of a baby was among the files.
