A brute has been jailed after admitting he threatened to murder his ex-partner.
Twisted Stephen Hepburn was jailed for 13 months for subjecting his ex-partner to horrific domestic abuse on May 31, 2021 at two addresses in Paisley.
Prior to his trial at Paisley Sheriff Court, Hepburn admitted that at a property in Cathcart Crescent and a property in Dunearn Place, he demanded to see his expartner's mobile phone, messaging apps, and threatened to murder her.
He also pursued her when she tried to flee.
The 30-year-old also admitted to seizing his ex-partner by the body, climbing on top of her, and pinning her to a sofa with his knees.
He then punched her on the head, covered her mouth and nose with his hands, seized her by the hair, and pulled her to the floor where he repeatedly struck her head on the floor.
All of these actions caused her injury and impairment.
In addition to the jail sentence, Sheriff Brian Mohan imposed a 10-year nonharassment order preventing him from contacting or approaching his former partner.
